(company will not provide travel reimbursement) · Contract employees are not considered. · School Management/Library Management/ short term projects (2 or 3 months) are not considered. · Candidates above 6 lakhs CTC can apply for this position. · Shortlisted candidates has to attend interview on 15 th Oct Saturday between 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM only. (No telephonic) · Interview duration maximum 4 hours (All the rounds will be conducted on the same day) · Shortlisted candidates should be open to take the written test (From Junior till the Top Management everyone has to attend written test) Knowledge and Skills: · Strong hands on experience with Microsoft SQL server databases in standalone & cluster environments. · Experience with SQL Server 2008 R2 is a must and experience with 2005 and 2000 versions is desirable. · Strong hands on experience in performance tuning of the databases. · Experience with Database mirroring is highly desirable. · Experience with My SQL (open source) or Sybase is an added advantage. Candidate must be willing to learn and support other related RDBMS technologies. · Excellent communication and tem orientation skills are required. · Experience in ITIL foundation is desirable. Responsibilities: · Responsible for the administration of Microsoft SQL Server databases. · Responsible for installation, configuration, backup, recovery, performance tuning, capacity planning, upgrade and patching of the databases. · Research, plan and implement new features in database products. · Responsible for trouble shooting, identifying root cause and fixing the production problems. · Responsible for the development and implementation of standards and best practices. · Responsible for maintaining security of the databases as per information security standards. · Responsible for providing day to day support in 24*7 methods and work in night shift on a rotational basis. · Responsible for taking all the measure to maintain the high availability of databases as per the business requirements. · Responsible for setup and maintenance of disaster recovery solutions for databases as per business requirements. · Setup and maintenance of databases in Virtualized as well as clustered environments. · Responsible for monitoring of databases, collect and analyze statistical information for performance, capacity planning etc. and respond to critical alerts.
