Candidate Profile

• Familiarity with SQL database concepts (including SQL statements/scripts; Tables & Keys and table configurations)

• Familiarity with AIX/UNIX filesystem concepts

• Familiarity with data backup/recovery software (such as LiteSpeed or Veritas)

• Familiarity with NT Windows servers

• Familiarity with Web Services concepts – especially components related to supporting databases

• Familiarity with automation software concepts (event schedulers; automated triggering of tasks)

• Familiarity with server to mainframe connectivity concepts & software (such as IBM WebSphere MQ “MQSeries”)

• 2 or more years experience working within an AIX/SQL technical IT environment

• Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems

• Microsoft Certification is a plus or familiar with Microsoft software (such as Visual Studio/Management Studio and other MS products)

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.tech/MCA (Should have 60% across the career)

Vacancy Details

Fresher • Provide 24×7 daily “lights-on” support tasks for keeping Production and various testing/development LifePRO environments stable and available

• Create and support technical scripts (Visual Basic; SQL, etc.) necessary to maintain databases

• Resolve Service Desk Tickets submitted from users

• Manage code deployment to the LifePRO servers

• Perform database table migrations/updates; assist with creating new tables

• Install and configure LifePRO vendor application software

• Install and configure other vendor purchased software

• As needed, assist application developers with software installations (Fujitsu compilers; pushing desktop icons; help triage system/software errors)

• Create and maintain SSIS packages

• Generate and help interpret database and server performance monitoring reports

• Capacity Planning

• Perform system validation following infrastructure maintenance activities

• Serve as technical liaison between application developers and software vendors

• Assist in system conversions and software upgrades – includes all applicable DBA tasks (backups; executing conversion scripts; restores; environmental migrations etc.)
